Florida Christian's pitcher stepped up to hand Westminster Christian a 7-0 shutout on Thursday. The victory was nothing new for the Patriots as they're now sitting on five straight.

Not much got past Serena Gillen, who gave up just four hits and racked up ten Ks to keep Westminster Christian off the board. Gillen has been consistent : she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in five consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Danbee Kim was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing Two bases. while going 2-for-3. She also put up two RBI, which were her first of the season. Samantha Otano was another key player, scoring a run and stealing Two bases. while going 1-for-4.
Meanwhile, Schoolhouse Prep entered their tilt with St. Brendan on Monday with two consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with three. Everything went their way against the Sabres as they made off with a 10-3 win.
The team relied heavily on Francela Verdura, who got on base in four of her five plate appearances with one home run, three RBI, and one stolen base. Another player making a difference was Danna Viera, who scored a run while going 2-for-5.
Schoolhouse Prep kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least ten hits in three consecutive matches.
