The La Salette Academy Lions won the last time they faced the Georgetown-Ridge Farm Buffaloes, and things went their way on Saturday too. La Salette Academy walked away with a 43-30 victory over Georgetown-Ridge Farm.
La Salette Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Charles Prather led the charge by scoring 12 points along with 7 rebounds. Eamon Martin was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with 5 rebounds and 3 steals.
Ajhon Watson and Brady Chamberlain certainly did their best on Saturday to try and avoid the loss. Watson scored 8 points along with 6 rebounds, while Chamberlain scored 9 points along with 6 rebounds. Watson scored a full 26.7% of Georgetown-Ridge Farm's points, the sixth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points.
The win got La Salette Academy back to even at 1-1. As for Georgetown-Ridge Farm, their loss dropped their record down to 1-5.
La Salette Academy will head out on the road to face off against Chrisman at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Chrisman focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up ten on Saturday. As for Georgetown-Ridge Farm, they will be playing at home against Cissna Park at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday.
