Ganesha and Workman are an even 3-3 against one another since March of 2016, but likely not for long. The Giants will welcome the Lobos at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Workman's hitters are going to have their work cut out for them on Friday: Ganesha hadn't allowed a single run the last seven times they've hit the field. The Giants never let La Puente get on the board and left with a 16-0 win on Thursday. The victory continues a trend for the Giants in their matchups with the Warriors: they've now won eight in a row.

The team relied heavily on Sophia McCoy, who went 3-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in March. Jules Alberto was another key player, going 3-for-4 with two runs, two RBI, and one double.
Meanwhile, Workman made easy work of Edgewood on Thursday and carried off a 12-5 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Lobos.
McKenna Weller made a splash no matter where she played. She struck out ten batters over seven innings while giving up five earned runs off eight hits. Weller was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with four RBI, one triple, and one run.
In other batting news, Kimberly Cruz was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. Another player making a difference was Leana Sanchez, who got on base in three of her five plate appearances with three stolen bases and two runs.
Ganesha pushed their record up to 21-4-1 with the victory, which was their 22nd straight on the road dating back to last season. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.8 runs on average over those games. As for Workman, their victory bumped their record up to 8-6.
Everything went Ganesha's way against Workman in their previous meeting two weeks ago, as Ganesha made off with a 14-0 win. Do the Giants have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Lobos turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
