The Boyd-Buchanan Buccaneers will venture away from home to take on the McCallie Blue Tornado at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Boyd-Buchanan will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.
On Tuesday, Boyd-Buchanan was able to grind out a solid win over Notre Dame, taking the game 8-3.

The team relied heavily on Kash Watkins, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. He has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played. Max Bates was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one run, one double, and one RBI.
Boyd-Buchanan was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .394. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .333 or higher in four consecutive matchups.
Meanwhile, McCallie had just enough and edged out Chattanooga Christian 4-3 on Wednesday.
McCallie also got a great performance from Peyton Mcallister as he didn't allow a single earned run over 5.1 innings pitched. What's more, Mcallister posted four strikeouts, the most he's had over his last five contests.
On the hitting side, Noah Wilson was incredible, going 2-for-3 with three stolen bases and two runs. Reagan Kulisek also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.
Boyd-Buchanan's record now sits at 18-9-1. As for McCallie, their record is now 15-8.
Boyd-Buchanan's speedy runners might be the difference in Thursday's game. The Buccaneers have been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3.1 stolen bases per game.
