The A.L. Brown Wonders put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They enjoyed a cozy 41-27 win over Mount Pleasant. Given A.L. Brown's advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 92nd, while Mount Pleasant is ranked 233rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead A.L. Brown to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jah'nae Stevens, who scored 11 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Sadie Faulkner, who scored 10 points.
A.L. Brown pushed their record up to 4-0 with that win, which was their third straight on the road. As for Mount Pleasant, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-3.
A.L. Brown won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Central Academy at 6:00 p.m. on December 6th. Central Academy comes in still looking for their first win of the season. As for Mount Pleasant, they will head out on the road to face off against Concord at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Concord and Mount Pleasant are at an even 4-4-1 over their past nine head-to-heads.
