Softball Recap: Dacula Has No Trouble Against Ridgeland

After only two runs in their last contest, Dacula made sure to put some runs up on the board against Ridgeland on Saturday. The Falcons put the hurt on the Panthers with a sharp 10-2 win. The result was nothing new for the Falcons, who have now won nine games by eight runs or more so far this season.

Paisley Brown made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Brown was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base.

In other batting news, Tatiana Loera was excellent, going 1-for-2 with two runs and one stolen base. She has been hot, having posted at least one stolen base the last six times she's played. Lianna Rodriguez was another key player, getting on base in all three of her plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base.

Dacula always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .519. They are a perfect 8-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

Dacula's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 14-7. As for Ridgeland, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-9.

Dacula has already played their next matchup, a 9-2 loss against Lassiter on the 13th. As for Ridgeland, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 6-5 win against Coahulla Creek on the 13th.
