Lincoln Christian stacked a 14th blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Tuesday. They blew past Cascia Hall, posting a 49-21 victory at home. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win Lincoln Christian has posted against Cascia Hall since January 29, 2021.
Lincoln Christian found their leader in underclassman Maddi Stewart, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 12 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Hallie Kitchen, who scored seven points along with two steals.
Meanwhile, Rejoice Christian strolled past Morrison with points to spare on Saturday, taking the game 53-39. The victory was just what Rejoice Christian needed coming off of a 77-41 loss in their prior contest.
Lincoln Christian's victory was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 19-2. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.5 points per game. As for Rejoice Christian, the victory got them back to even at 7-7.
Everything came up roses for Lincoln Christian against Rejoice Christian when the teams last played back in December of 2023 as the team secured a 62-20 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Lincoln Christian since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
