In other batting news, Dana Montero and Abby Okita did most of the damage at the plate: Montero went 2-for-3 with four runs and one stolen base, while Okita got on base in all four of her plate appearances with three RBI and one run. Those four runs gave Montero a new career-high. Alexa Garcia also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.
Morse was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .455. They are a perfect 12-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
Morse has been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-8 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.5 runs over those games. As for Crawford, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-14.
