The Oakcrest Chargers waltzed into their game  Thursday with two straight wins  but they left with three. They really took it to Immanuel Christian for the full four quarters, racking up a  52-12 victory at home. That  52-12 margin sets a new team best for Oakcrest this season.
  Mary Mehan continued  her habit of posting crazy stat lines,  dropping  a double-double on 18 points and 18  rebounds. Mehan is absolutely dominating the  rebound category: she's  posted at least eight every time she's  taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of  Elaine Etter, who  scored six points along with five  steals.
 Oakcrest has  been performing  well recently as they've  won four of their last five games,  which provided a massive bump to their 5-5 record this season. As for Immanuel Christian, they are  on a nine-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 1-9.
 Oakcrest will look to defend their home court  on Monday against Fredericksburg Christian at 6:00  p.m. Hopefully Fredericksburg Christian focused on turnovers this week  since the team gave up 13 on Friday. As for Immanuel Christian, they will head out on the road to face off against Saint John Paul the Great Catholic at 5:00  p.m.  on Monday.
