Trinity Episcopal typically has all the answers at home, but on Friday St. Christopher's proved too difficult a challenge. They walked away with a 65-53 victory over the Titans. Given St. Christopher's advantage in MaxPreps' Virginia basketball rankings (they are ranked seventh, while Trinity Episcopal is ranked 47th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Meanwhile, Virginia Episcopal School pushed their score all the way to 57 on Thursday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell 70-57 to Miller School of Albemarle.
St. Christopher's is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests, which somehow isn't as good as their 19-6 record this season. As for Virginia Episcopal School, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-10.
St. Christopher's strolled past Virginia Episcopal School in their previous meeting back in February of 2023 by a score of 67-50. Will St. Christopher's repeat their success, or does Virginia Episcopal School have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
