After flying high against the Chuckey-Doak Black Knights on Saturday, the Lakeway Christian Academy Lions came back down to earth. Lakeway Christian Academy took a 50-39 hit to the loss column at the hands of Fulton on Tuesday.
When it comes to explaining why Lakeway Christian Academy lost, one person who can't be blamed is Kami Wilson. Despite the final result, she scored 20 points along with 6 rebounds and 5 assists. The match was Wilson's seventh in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ellie Linx, who scored 10 points.
Lakeway Christian Academy now has a losing record at 3-4. As for Fulton, their win bumped their record up to 1-4.
Lakeway Christian Academy's road trip will continue as they head out to face Berean Christian at 6:00 p.m. on December 5th. Berean Christian comes in still looking for their first win of the season. As for Fulton, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Farragut at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
