Dover has enjoyed the comforts of home their last four games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will  face off against the Hector Wildcats at 5:00  p.m.  on Tuesday.
 While Dover couldn't quite beat Pottsville on Thursday, the two-point margin was a huge improvement compared to the 15-point  defeat they were dealt  on Tuesday. Dover fell just short of Pottsville by a score of  8-6.
  Addisyn Anderson spent all seven innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four earned  (and five unearned) runs on ten hits and racked up seven Ks.
 On the hitting side,  Lily Titsworth was cooking despite her team's loss,   going 3-for-4 with a  home run and a  double.  Adelyn Ayers was another key contributor,  going 2-for-4 with a  home run and three  RBI.
 Meanwhile, Hector can now show off six landslide victories after their most recent  game  on Friday. They were the clear victor by  a  17-2 margin over Union Christian Academy. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for Hector considering their two-run performance the  match before.
  Bryleigh Darter looked comfortable as she  tossed three innings while giving up just two earned runs off   three  hits (she also didn't allow any  walks).
 At the plate,  Leah Profitt and  Megan Goates did most of the damage at the plate:  Profitt  went 2-for-3 with a  home run, five  RBI,  and two  runs, while  Goates  went 2-for-2 with a  home run, three  runs,  and four  RBI. Another player making a difference was  Abbie Dodson, who  scored two  runs and  stole three bases while going 1-for-2.
 Dover has  not been sharp recently as the team has  lost 11 of their last 12 contests,  which put a noticeable dent in their 6-13 record  this season. As for Hector, their win bumped their record up to 7-5.
 Dover took their  victory against Hector  when the teams last played  back in April of 2023 by a conclusive  13-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for Dover since the  squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
