Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Gosnell). They were the clear victors by a 22-1 margin over the Blytheville Chickasaws on Tuesday. The team's explosion at the plate also rewarded the Pirates with their most commanding win of the season.

The win was the third in a row for Gosnell, bringing their record up to 5-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.0 runs over those games. As for Blytheville, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Gosnell beat Blytheville by a score of 18-0 on Thursday.
