Pine Forge Academy will be playing in front of their home fans against Delaware Valley Friends at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Thursday, Pine Forge Academy really took it to Kimberton Waldorf for the full four quarters, racking up a 80-13 victory on the road. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 55-4.
Meanwhile, Delaware Valley Friends earned a 53-42 victory over Woodlynde on Thursday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Delaware Valley Friends.
Brandon Thomas continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 16 points along with seven rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Evan Stockmal, who scored seven points.
Pine Forge Academy's win ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-0. As for Delaware Valley Friends, they pushed their record up to 6-2 with that win, which was their third straight at home.
