This season hasn't been kind to the Greenville Christian Eagles, who are still winless after their eighth match. They were dealt a 72-22 loss at the hands of CHAAMP HomeSchool on Thursday. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Greenville Christian has scored all season.
CHAAMP HomeSchool got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Drew Wigley out in front who scored 13 points along with four steals. Those four steals set a new season-high mark for him. David Harrison was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on ten points and 15 rebounds.
Greenville Christian bumped their record down to 0-8 with that defeat, which was their fifth straight at home. As for CHAAMP HomeSchool, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-6.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Greenville Christian will face off against Poetry Community Christian at 7:30 p.m. on January 12th. CHAAMP HomeSchool's road trip will continue as they head out to face Marshall Christian Academy at 8:30 p.m. on January 9th.
