The Model Patriots are taking a road trip to  face off against the Jackson County Generals  at 6:00  p.m.  on Monday. Model is coming into the  matchup hot, having won their last eight games.
Model is headed into the  contest having just  posted their closest  win since April 5, 2024 on Thursday. They narrowly escaped with a  victory as the  team sidled past Berea  7-5.
 Piper Moore was a  major factor no matter where she played. She  pitched two innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. Moore was also solid in the batter's box,  going 2-for-4 with two  RBI and one  double.

 In other batting news,  Rylli Hunt was  incredible,  going 2-for-4 with two  stolen bases, two  runs,  and one  triple. She is  on a roll when it comes to  stolen bases, as she's  now  snagged two or more in each of the last six games she's  played. Another player making a difference was  Josie Williams, who  went 2-for-4 with one  run, one  double,  and one  RBI.
 Model  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 12  hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  got at least nine  hits in three consecutive  games.
 Meanwhile, Jackson County got themselves on the board against Lee County on Friday, but Lee County never followed suit. They were the clear victors by  a  13-0 margin over the Bobcats. The  win continues a trend for the Generals in their matchups with the Bobcats: they've now won six in a row.
 Model's victory was  their third straight on the road, which  pushed their record up to 10-2. Those  road  wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 14.0 runs over those games. As for Jackson County,  the  victory  got them back to even at 8-8.
 Model might still be hurting after the  10-0 loss they got from Jackson County  in their previous meeting  back in April of 2024. Can the Patriots avenge their  defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
