The Cypress Creek Coyotes posted their biggest victory yet this season on Wednesday. They claimed a resounding 59-22 win over Pasco on the road. That's another feather in the cap for Cypress Creek, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Cypress Creek was led to victory by Manuel Castro and Jordan Constantine. Castro scored 11 points along with five steals, while Constantine scored 14 points along with three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Constantine has scored all season. Rowan Gayle was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with three steals.
Despite the loss, Pasco still got an impressive performance from Zion DeJesus, who scored eight points.
Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Pasco struggled to work together and finished the game with only three assists. They were crushed by their opponents in that department as Cypress Creek racked up 18 assists.
Cypress Creek's victory bumped their record up to 8-9. As for Pasco, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-10.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cypress Creek will take on Tampa Prep at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Tampa Prep presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Cypress Creek in Florida (Tampa Prep is ranked 107th, while Cypress Creek is ranked 382nd). As for Pasco, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Zephyrhills at 8:00 p.m. One thing working in Zephyrhills' favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last eight matches.
