Castle View had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. Everything went their way against the Pine Creek Eagles on Saturday as they made off with a 15-1 victory. The Sabercats' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.
Keyan Lundvall made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he struck out six batters over five innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit (and only one walk). He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances. He was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with one home run and four RBI.
