Coquille led 3A Sunset in scoring this week after putting up 35 points on Oakland. Sye Yates ran for 130 yards in the win.
The Red Devils' offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Austin Arrant threw for six and one touchdown and Matt Miranda had six yards receiving.
Coquille's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Red Devils feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Yates has thrown for 96 yards and two touchdowns this season, while Miranda has three catches for 55 yards. Tristan Dixon leads the league in rushing with 308 yards.
The top two defenses in the league will face off this season when Coquille takes on Glide. David Thomason's team has allowed 88 points this season, while the Wildcats have given up 128. The Red Devils allowed 21 points last week as they beat the Oakers.
Coquille made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 9,165 from 10,562. They were able to move up in the ranks after a 35-21 victory over Oakland last week.
