Baseball Recap: Mica Mountain Has No Trouble Against Arcadia

Mica Mountain got themselves on the board against Arcadia on Friday, but Arcadia never followed suit. They put the hurt on the Titans with a sharp 10-0 win. Considering the Thunderbolts have won eight matches by more than six runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Ethan Hunt was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two doubles. He has become a key player for Mica Mountain: the team is 3-1 when he posts at least two stolen bases, but 9-10-1 otherwise. Johnny Nyman was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two runs.

Mica Mountain always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .514. They are 8-1 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

Mica Mountain now has a winning record of 12-11-1. As for Arcadia, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-17.

Looking ahead, Mica Mountain will host Rio Rico at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Thunderbolts' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Hawks have averaged an impressive 6.2 runs per game this season. As for Arcadia, they are taking a road trip to challenge Paradise Honors at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
