Somerset Academy (Silver Palms) put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They came within six points of losing the streak, but they secured a 72-66 W against the Key West Conchs. For the Stallions, this counts as revenge for the 59-36 victory the Conchs walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2024.

Key West's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was James Osborne, who dropped a double-double with 19 points and ten boards. Another player making a difference was Alex Means, who shot 45% from the field to rack up 17 points.

Somerset Academy (Silver Palms)'s win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Key West, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Coming up, Somerset Academy (Silver Palms) will take on Ransom Everglades at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Key West, they will square off against NSU University at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
