Clay has gone 9-1 against St. Francis de Sales recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. Clay is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. Everything went their way against Springfield on Wednesday as they made off with an 11-0 win. The team's explosion at the plate also rewarded the Eagles with their most commanding win of the season.
Darin Fussell made a splash no matter where he played. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out eight over seven innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in two of his five plate appearances.
