Even though the Delaware Military Academy Seahawks scored an imposing 64 points on Wednesday, the Whitman Vikings still came out on top. Whitman snuck past Delaware Military Academy with a 69-64 victory.
Leading Whitman to victory were Evan Brown and Thomas Farrell. Brown scored 22 points, while Farrell scored 19 points along with nine rebounds and three steals. The game was Farrell's ninth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Hayden Walsh, who scored 17 points.
Whitman's win bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Delaware Military Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-3.
Whitman will be playing at home against Walter Johnson at 5:30 p.m. on January 5, 2024. As for Delaware Military Academy, they will head out on the road to face off against Wilmington Charter at 5:00 p.m. on January 4, 2024.
