The West Orange Mountaineers entered their tilt with the Caldwell Chiefs with four consecutive wins  but they'll enter their next game with five. West Orange walked away with  a   58-48  victory over the Chiefs  on Tuesday. The score was all tied up  23-23 at the break, but West Orange was the  better team in the second half.
  Anaya Karriem continued  her habit of posting crazy stat lines,  dropping  a double-double on 21 points and 15  rebounds. She has been hot recently, having posted 13 or more  rebounds the last three times she's  played. The team also got some help courtesy of  Kyley Gary-Grayson, who  scored 11 points along with five  rebounds and three  steals.
 West Orange's victory was  their fifth straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 15-5. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.6 points per game. As for Caldwell, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-6.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. West Orange will stay at home for another  game and welcome the Lions at 4:00  p.m.  on February 1st. Immaculate Conception knows how to get  points on the board -- the  team has finished with flashy point totals in its past five matchups -- so hopefully the Mountaineers likes a good challenge. As for Caldwell, they will be playing in front of their home fans against the Cougars at 4:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Columbia will have to bring their A-game into this one,  as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps New Jersey Rankings (they are ranked 206th, while the Chiefs are ranked 55th).
