On Monday, Grand County came up short against Duchesne and fell 41-29. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Grand County in their matchups with Duchesne: they've now lost three in a row.
Grand County's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Cadence Kasprick, who scored 12 points along with nine steals, and Trinity Bryant who scored nine points along with four steals. Kasprick has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last five times she's played. Another player making a difference was Tatum Packard, who scored two points along with nine rebounds.

Tuesday's contest is shaping up to be a scrappy match: Grand County have been smashing the glass this season, having only averaged 40.2 rebounds per game. It's a different story for North Summit, though, as they've been averaging only 33.1 rebounds per game. Given Grand County's sizeable advantage in that area, North Summit will need to find a way to close that gap.
