Houston had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 23.3 points) and they went ahead and made it four on Friday. They blew past the Southwind Jaguars 56-33. The Mustangs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 matches by 23 points or more this season.

Leading Houston to victory were Mckenzie Percoski and Caidyn Sanders. Percoski almost dropped a double-double with 16 points and nine boards, while Sanders went 7-for-12 to rack up 17 points along with five rebounds and three steals. The game was Percoski's fourth in a row with at least 16 points. Another player making a difference was Laila Mcnamee, who posted eight points and six boards.

Houston pushed their record up to 21-9 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.0 points over those games. As for Southwind, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost eight of their last nine contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-19 record this season.

Houston won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Collierville at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. Collierville is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 53 points per game this season. Southwind does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
