Lisle moved up to 279 from 308 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Interstate Eight - Small. The Lions were able to make move up by defeating Sandwich 20-14.
Lisle made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 7,636 from 8,452. The advance stemmed from a 20-14 victory over the Indians last week.
Seneca's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Peyton Schrag threw for 63 yards and Jimmy David had 21 yards receiving. On the ground Logan Pifer chipped in 174 yards. Tommy Lovett helped Seneca's passing attack out by catching one ball for 19 yards.
Seneca's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Fighting Irish feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Schrag has thrown for 920 yards and eight touchdowns this season, while David has 24 catches for 320 yards. Bo Taylor leads the league in rushing with 554 yards.
