The West Forsyth Titans's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their fourth straight loss. They took a 53-47 hit to the loss column at the hands of Davie. West Forsyth was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Davie apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February of 2023.
Several Titans players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Alexis Waters, who scored 17 points along with eight rebounds and two blocks. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Waters has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Campbell McClain, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and ten rebounds.
West Forsyth's defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 8-7. As for Davie, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-7 record this season.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. West Forsyth's road trip will continue as they head out to face Parkland at 6:00 p.m. on January 26th. As for Davie, they will take on East Forsyth at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
