While Wednesday's victory was certainly a team effort, someone pulling more than their own weight was underclassman Abbie Freeman. She wasn't messing around on Wednesday, not allowing a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out six over four innings pitched. The pitching appearance was her fourth straight with six or more strikeouts.
