On Friday Cohen will take on KIPP Renaissance at 7:00 PM. Cohen have bulldozed their previous three opponents, so KIPP Renaissance might have their hands full.
Last Friday, Cohen put the finishing touches on their 3rd blowout victory of the season. They blew past Sci Academy 34-12. Cohen were expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.
Meanwhile, if KIPP Renaissance were riding high off their 41-15 takedown of Thomas Jefferson two weeks ago, that ride came to an abrupt end. KIPP Renaissance took a 11-24 hit to the loss column at the hands of Wright.
Cohen's victory lifted them to 4-3 while KIPP Renaissance's defeat dropped them down to 2-5. We'll see if Cohen's success rolls on or if KIPP Renaissance are able to steal their positive momentum.
