Plant is a perfect 10-0 against Sickles since March of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Panthers will face off against the Gryphons at 7:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Plant is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Monday. They never let Armwood get on the board and left with a 15-0 victory. The win was nothing new for the Panthers as they're now sitting on three straight.

Armwood's batters probably weren't too happy with Summer Wood, who pitched a no hitter and racked up six Ks (she gave up zero walks). Wood has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one walk in three consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Alexis Medina was excellent, going a perfect 1-for-1 with two RBI, one run, and one double. Another player making a difference was Shelise Johnson, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with two runs and one stolen base.
Plant always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .667. The last time their OBP was this high was back in February of 2025.
Meanwhile, after only two runs in their last game, Sickles made sure to put some runs up on the board against Riverview on Tuesday. The Gryphons put the hurt on the Sharks with a sharp 10-3 victory.
Parker Smith spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned runs on six hits.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Emily Jaster, who went 3-for-4 with three RBI and one run. That's the most hits she has posted since back in March.
Sickles' win bumped their record up to 10-16. As for Plant, their victory bumped their record up to 19-7.
Plant skirted past Sickles 8-7 in their previous matchup back in March. Do the Panthers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Gryphons turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
