Mohawk have been homebodies their last two matches, but they are heading out on Friday. They take on Perrydale at 7:00 PM. Mohawk don't have the home-field advantage, but they do enjoy an advantage in the MaxPreps rankings.
After a disappointing eight points in their last matchup, Mohawk made sure to put some points up on the board against Crow last Friday. Mohawk blew past Crow 44-12. Mohawk were expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.
Meanwhile, after a dominant victory in their game two weeks ago, Perrydale were humbled. They were given a punishing 14-64 loss at the hands of Elgin.
Mohawk's win lifted them to 2-4 while Perrydale's defeat dropped them down to 1-5. We'll find out if Mohawk can add another positive mark to their record or if Perrydale can shake off the defeat and take the spring out of Mohawk's step.
