Waltonville entered their tilt with Webber on Tuesday with five consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with six. They never let the Trojans get on the board and left with a 12-0 win. Considering the Spartans have won seven contests by more than six runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Waltonville's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-5. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Webber, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-9.

Coincidentally, Waltonville and Webber will both be playing Wayne City the next time they take the field. The Spartans will head out to face the Indians at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, while the Trojans will host them at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
