Wheaton North came tearing into Saturday's contest with four straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Rockford Auburn Knights. The Falcons have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Knights, too.

Ben Boyce paced Wheaton North's offense, picking up 11 kills. Boyce got some help from Trey Hubner and his 20 assists. Michael Janik controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Despite the defeat, Rockford Auburn had strong showings from Lucas Manaligod, who had ten digs, and Conner Hawkins, who had nine assists.

Wheaton North's win bumped their record up to 19-10. As for Rockford Auburn, their loss dropped their record down to 16-16.

Wheaton North has already played their next match, a 2-1 victory against Prospect on the 10th. As for Rockford Auburn, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Highland Park on the 10th.
