Sheridan was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .417. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Morgan only posted a batting average of .071.
The win was the third in a row for Sheridan, bringing their record up to 11-4. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.0 runs over those games. As for Morgan, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-13 record this season.
