Volleyball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Ola

Ola entered their tilt with Creekside Christian Academy on Thursday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They came out on top against the Cougars by a score of 2-0. The Mustangs have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Cougars, too.

Ola easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-14.

Ola found their leader in sophomore Lily Powell, who had four digs and three aces.

Ola was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 18 aces. That's the most aces they've posted since back in September of 2024.

Ola's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Creekside Christian Academy, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Coincidentally, Ola and Creekside Christian Academy will both be playing Locust Grove the next time they take the court. The Cougars will head out to face the Wildcats at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, while the Mustangs will play them later in the day, at 7:30 p.m.
