The Crooms Academy Panthers will head out on the road to challenge the Mount Dora Hurricanes at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.

Crooms Academy's loss came about despite a quality game from Zoe Fulgencio, who scored 13 points.
Meanwhile, Mount Dora came into Thursday's match having lost five straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They came out on top against Legacy Charter by a score of 39-31 on Thursday. The victory was just what Mount Dora needed coming off of a 52-14 defeat in their prior match.
Crooms Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-13. As for Mount Dora, their win bumped their record up to 5-14.
Crooms Academy was taken down by the Hurricanes 50-12 when the teams last played back in December of 2023. Can Crooms Academy avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
