If Southaven was feeling good fresh off their 54-33 takedown of Senatobia on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Chargers took a hard 52-36 fall against the Center Hill Mustangs on Thursday. The Chargers' defeat signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Several Chargers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jodari Morgan, who posted seven points and eight rebounds. Another player making a difference was Baxter Forrest, who put up eight points.

Southaven's loss dropped their record down to 7-3. As for Center Hill, their win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-10.

Coming up, Southaven won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against West Memphis at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Blue Devils have been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Center Hill, they will have a chance to turn things around after yesterday's loss to Lewisburg at 12:00 p.m. on Friday after yesterday's loss.
