Waterford is 0-10 against the Winged Lions since January of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Wednesday. The Waterford Ravens' road trip will continue as they head out to face the Rowland Hall Winged Lions at 7:00 p.m. on February 7th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Utah (Waterford is ranked 119th, while the Winged Lions are ranked 117th).
Last Friday, Waterford was able to grind out a solid victory over the Lions, taking the game 54-42.
Meanwhile, Rowland Hall earned a 60-48 win over the Jayhawks on Friday.
Yeshi Tsering was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 16 points and ten steals. He is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last 11 games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Landen Brady, who scored nine points along with three steals.
Waterford has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a massive bump to their 8-9 record this season. As for Rowland Hall, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-11.
Waterford couldn't quite finish off the Winged Lions when the teams last played back in January and fell 55-52. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Tsering, who scored 29 points along with three steals. Now that Waterford knows the damage he can cause, will they be able to stop him this time? There's only one way to find out.
