Groveton got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Josiah Allen out in front who scored seven points along with 11 rebounds and two steals. George Jake Snyder was another key player, posting 11 points in addition to five steals.
LEAD Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Groveton, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-5.
LEAD Academy is headed away from home for the first time to face off against King's Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Groveton, they will host Zavalla at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
