A-6 North (6 Man) recap September 17, 2013
Adrian Cereceres of North Park ran for the longest rushing play in A-6 North (6 Man) this season against Fleming last week. Cereceres' team lost to the Wildcats as he sprinted for 63 yards on the play and finished with 89 in all.
North Park fell to Fleming 60-14 last week, the largest margin of any game. Cereceres in the loss.
Trent Timm was the best receiver in the league this week as Pawnee lost to Peetz. Timm racked up 4 receptions for 94 yards. Austin Burson helped Pawnee's passing attack out by catching 2 balls for 23 yards.
Jordan Nelson provided a threat through the air and on the ground as the Bulldogs topped the Coyotes.
Nelson was the most successful running back in the league this week. He ran for 247 yards on 24 carries as Peetz fell to Peetz. Logan Vach also contributed to the rushing game with 129 yards on the ground.
Blake Meredith put up the best numbers in passing as John King's team defeated the Wildcats. He had a total of 1 completions for 20 yards.
Nelson was a beast in the backfield as Scott Sorensen's team topped Doug Miller's team.
The Coyotes' Burson and Timm have formed a dream team this season, leading A-6 North (6 Man) in both passing and receiving yards. 5-11 quarterback Burson has thrown for 395 yards this season, while Timm has 15 catches for 342 yards. The Bulldogs' Nelson leads the league in rushing yards with 380.
As it stands, the Wildcats are in third, while Briggsdale is in second.
Fleming led the league in scoring this week by notching 60 points on North Park. Joesph Stahley ran for 162 yards during the win.
