The West Shamokin Wolves won the last time they faced the Purchase Line Red Dragons, and things went their way on Tuesday too. West Shamokin really took it to the Red Dragons for the full four quarters, racking up a 65-38 victory on the road.
Purchase Line's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Brock Small, who scored 13 points along with six rebounds and three steals, and Owen Misko who scored 13 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Small has scored all season.
West Shamokin has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-8 record this season. As for Purchase Line, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-20.
West Shamokin and the Comets will face off at 7:15 p.m. on February 1st without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. As for Purchase Line, they will head out on the road to square off against the Wildcats at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Homer-Center is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak.
