The Cornerstone Charter Academy Ducks scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They came out on top against Forest Lake Academy by a score of 64-52. That 64-52 margin sets a new team best for Cornerstone Charter Academy this season.
Jayden Lebron was his usual excellent self, scoring 28 points along with seven rebounds. The contest was his fourth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Omar Vincent, who scored 11 points along with seven rebounds.
The win makes it two in a row for Cornerstone Charter Academy and bumps their season record up to 2-2. As for Forest Lake Academy, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-4.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cornerstone Charter Academy will take on Regency Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Forest Lake Academy won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Horizon at 7:00 p.m. on December 6th. Hopefully Horizon focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 17 on Friday.
