Riverside has gone 9-1 against Lehman Catholic recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Pirates will venture away from home to square off against the Cavaliers at 5:00 p.m. Riverside will aim to continue their four-game streak of scoring more runs each game than the last.
Riverside came out on top against Troy Christian on Wednesday thanks in part to the team's impressive nine-run sixth inning. The Pirates never let the Eagles get on the board and left with a 16-0 victory. The Pirates haven't had any issues with the Eagles recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.

Riley Dillon was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out six over six innings pitched. Dillon was also big at the plate, getting on base in four of her five plate appearances with four stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. Those four stolen bases gave her a new career-high.
In other batting news, Emilee Robinson was incredible, going 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two doubles. Those two doubles gave her a new career-high. Miah Carman was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs.
Riverside always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .564. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Troy Christian only posted an OBP of .042.
Meanwhile, Lehman Catholic fell victim to Miami East and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They came up short against the Vikings, falling 12-0. The Cavaliers haven't had much luck with the Vikings recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.
Lehman Catholic's loss dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Riverside, their record now sits at 12-8.
Everything went Riverside's way against Lehman Catholic in their previous matchup back in April, as Riverside made off with a 17-10 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Pirates since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
