The Masuk Panthers will venture away from home to square off against the Cheshire Rams at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Masuk is coming into the match hot, having won their last five games.
On Wednesday, Masuk made easy work of Stratford and carried off a 3-0 win.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-11, 25-14.

Masuk's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Mary-Kate Boyle, who had six digs and four assists, and Mia Tyler, who had nine aces, four digs, and one block. Tyler is also on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 12 or more in each of the last 21 games she's played dating back to last season. Kaylen Kreiner also deserves some recognition as she served her first ace of the season.
They weren't the only good server: Masuk was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 21 aces. That's the most aces they've posted in their last eight contests.
Meanwhile, Cheshire posted their closest victory since October 25, 2024 on Monday. They skirted past Sheehan 3-2.
Cheshire took Sheehan into a fifth set where they got it done with a two-point win. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 18-25, 20-25, 25-15, 16-14.
Masuk better keep an eye on Gabby Scotti. She was instrumental in Cheshire's win, getting 13 digs and four aces.
Masuk's record is now 8-3. As for Cheshire, their record now sits at 6-3.
Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of Thursday's game: Masuk has really dialed in their serving this season, having averaged 13.5 aces per game. However, it's not like Cheshire struggles in that department as they've been averaging 16.1 aces. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
