The Memorial Christian Academy Warriors lost against the Providence Prep Rams back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Memorial Christian Academy had to suffer through a rough 54-22 loss at the hands of the Rams. Memorial Christian Academy has not had much luck with the Rams recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Providence Prep's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Asa Jackson, who almost dropped a double-double on ten points and nine rebounds. Jackson is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down nine or more in the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Clark Morrison, who scored seven points along with four steals.
Memorial Christian Academy dropped their record down to 2-17 with that defeat, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 21.6 points per game. As for Providence Prep, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season.
Memorial Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Providence Prep will head out on the road to challenge the Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
