Last Thursday, Cornerstone Academy suffered a tough 60-36 loss at the hands of Ocala Christian. Cornerstone Academy has struggled against Ocala Christian recently, as their matchup on Thursday was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.
The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Raphael Valerio, who scored 12 points. He continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Josiah Espy was another key contributor, scoring ten points.
Meanwhile, HEART HomeSchool entered their tilt with Liberty Christian Prep with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. HEART HomeSchool claimed a resounding 73-24 win over Liberty Christian Prep at home. That looming 73-24 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for HEART HomeSchool yet this season.
Cornerstone Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for HEART HomeSchool, they pushed their record up to 10-4 with that victory, which was their sixth straight at home.
