The Rochester Zebras will challenge the Bremen Lions at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Rochester is coming into the contest hot, having won their last four games.
While Rochester's victory against Twin Lakes wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Zebras narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Indians 7-5.

Bria Rensberger made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, keeping things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out 11 over 4.1 innings pitched. She has been consistent: she hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts in five consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with one home run and three RBI.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Aubrey Wilson, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games she's played. Gabby Medina was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and one double.
Meanwhile, after low-scoring totals in their previous three game, Bremen brought some dynamite into their most recent match. They never let LaVille get on the board and left with an 11-0 victory on Thursday. The win continues a trend for the Lions in their matchups with the Lancers: they've now won nine in a row.
Delainey Neher was a standout: she got on base in three of her five plate appearances with two RBI, one run, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Emma Flora, who went 1-for-4 with one run and one RBI.
Bremen always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .605. The last time their OBP was this high was back in May of 2024.
Rochester's victory bumped their record up to 8-3. As for Bremen, their win was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 4-9.
Bremen's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Rochester has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .437. It's a different story for Bremen, though, as they've only averaged .355. Will they be able to contain Rochester's hitters?
