The Orland Trojans will be playing at home against the West Valley Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Orland has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 430 points over their last nine matches.
Orland stacked a eighth blowout onto their ever-increasing hoard on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 35-14 margin over Gridley.
Orland got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Manny Rodriguez out in front who picked up 103 receiving yards and a touchdown, and also rushed for 89 yards and a touchdown. Another player making a difference was Diego Rico, who rushed for 75 yards and two touchdowns.
Meanwhile, West Valley had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. In a tight game that could have gone either way, they made off with a 8-7 victory over Yreka.
Jack Casey was the offensive standout of the contest as he picked up 118 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Orland's win was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-1. They've been dominating during the matches in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 31.33 points. As for West Valley, their win bumped their record up to 3-7.
