Baseball Game Preview: Easton Valley vs. Edgewood-Colesburg Vikings

Easton Valley is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They were the clear victors by a 21-1 margin over Prince of Peace Prep on Monday. The team's explosion at the plate also rewarded Easton Valley with their most commanding win of the season.

Meanwhile, Edgewood-Colesburg lost 18-3 to Alburnett on Monday. The Vikings have struggled against the Pirates recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost meeting.

Easton Valley's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-6. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.6 runs over those games. As for Edgewood-Colesburg, their loss dropped their record down to 4-13.
